If you are one of those people who think that not everything is learned from books, you’re right. There are other learning techniques like the one we are presenting today: “Shadowing”. Are you interested in learning about “shadowing” and why it is useful? If so, you’re in luck. Read on to find out.

Shadowing is a learning method based on observation. Students with little professional experience spend one full workday as the shadow of a director of a company. This technique enables you to witness first-hand the company’s activities, how they are carried out, how they are related to the team and other departments, etc.

At the OIE, we offer you the opportunity, as future professionals, to acquire knowledge and career guidance by taking part in the Shadowing programme. But why are we committed to this programme?

  • Because it will give you the opportunity to acquire the know-how of a company.
  • Because it allows you to observe in real time how a leader carries out his/her role in the workplace.
  • Because it shows you how to perform the job, which procedures should be followed and what methods are used.
  • Because “being the shadow” of a manager will allow you to meet the rest of the company’s staff and interact with them.

If you would like to participate in our programme, sign up now on our website. More than 50 young people have already taken part in the Shadowing experience. Join them now!
